Why We Created The Gathering

A blank white card resting on a softly draped rust-colored fabric atop a beige quilted surface.

A few Months ago, during a conversation, our HR said something that stuck.

I spend my whole day holding space for others.
I don’t remember the last time someone held it for me.”

It wasn’t said with frustration. Just honesty. And that’s where The Gathering began.

In most workplaces, speed is rewarded, and output is measured. But behind the scenes, HR’s are constantly listening and carrying the emotional weight of teams. They create space for everyone else yet rarely find spaces designed for themselves.

The Gathering: HR Edition was our response to that gap. Not an event or a conference.Just a room, created for connection.

No panels, structured agendas, or pressure to network.Only a shared understanding of responsibility, of silence, of the things that often go unsaid. And that’s exactly what unfolded everything

No big moments or takeaways from documents.
Just real conversations where people felt seen without needing to explain themselves.

This was the first Gathering. It won’t be the last. Because sometimes, what people need isn’t more knowledge or better networking. It’s simply a space. where they don’t have to hold everything alone.
